Leuke e-mail van onze Engelse vrienden
Op zondag 30 mei speelde de Academie D- meiden tegen de Llanymynech Juniors Girls under 13 een vriendschappelijke wedstrijd in Raamsdonksveer. Hier onder de leuke reactie van de coach van dit team, echter wel in het Engels, maar dat zal toch geen probleem zijn voor de meesten.
Hope you are having a great weekend. I am writing to give a big thankyou to you , your son & the rest of the coaching staff but especially to your girls for such a fantastic welcome match & after party. From the moment you stepped onto the bus & used the microphone to welcome uswe knew that both the game & after match party would be truly memorable .......& so it was ! We really appreciate your efforts & the friendliness of the girls (the gifts were very kind). Although the game finished a bit short it gave our girls an opportunity to see a team that can pass & move the ball with good understanding.I hope our girl's team spirit & workrate came across to yours too. The Lemurs have been champions of our region for a record 4 consecutive years & at times have had to work hard for their results , but it was fantastic to see a team like SteDoCo control the play & pass the ball with such easeI only wish our teams were training together & testing each other every week !For us we regularly train against our U12 & U13 boys teams but whilst fast & physical even the boys do not pass the ball the way SteDoCo do - pls accept my congratulations on this .Also you have a wonderful attitude in your team , happy yet focussed on their football. I hope the girls keep in touch with each other , i would welcome you to visit our beautiful part of the border country - Shropshire (England) & Powys (Wales) We have fantastic facilities locally , Astro & Grass , i would ensure you have some very high quality opposition.We also have top quality Futsal facilities - a game which we also practise regularly & i believe is such an important discipline to help quick thinking & reactions in the game.
